Sylvester’s Maintenance & Mechanical began in 2009 with one employee and a simple goal of providing a trusted solution to facility maintenance needs. After 15 years working in facility maintenance and operations for prominent foodservice companies in the Denver area, James realized there was a definite need in the market for a service company providing high quality labor to customers with fairness and integrity. As a result, he combined his strong mechanical aptitude and extensive experience to create his own business with the level of customer service focus that he had previously been unable to find.
A lot has changed since 2009, Sylvester’s Maintenance & Mechanical has continued to expand its material and service offering. While we are still happy to assist with your day-to-day facility service requests, we also provide customized preventative maintenance programs, energy management consultation, new commercial HVAC equipment and repair, as well as, the repair or replacement of all your commercial door and loading dock needs. With 11 trucks on the road and 24-hour emergency service, 7 days a week, Sylvester’s Maintenance & Mechanical has built a solid reputation as the company to call when you need it done right.
As we have grown beyond the Denver metro area, we have continued with our commitment to building long-term relationships on the foundations of quality, fairness, and integrity. We understand our success relies on our customers’ satisfaction. If you are looking for a full-service contractor that can handle your commercial needs in facility maintenance, HVAC, doors, or dock equipment, please let us show you the difference our commitment to that satisfaction can make.
Before starting Sylvester’s Maintenance & Mechanical in 2009, James spent 15 years in facility maintenance and operations roles here in the Denver area. He is proud of growth his company has undergone and even more proud to have created a family atmosphere that keeps his employees loyal and happy. When his hectic schedule allows, he enjoys taking his family to Disneyland or unwinding with a good day of paintball.

Prior to Sylvester’s, Kyra was a service coordinator for one of the largest automotive groups in Denver. That experience gave her the strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task that it takes to keep our technicians organized and the office running smoothly. When the work day is done, Kyra enjoys decompressing at home with her boyfriend and their two young children.
